  7. MASTERPIECE/VWMS (Variable Weight Manufacturing System) is a fully interactive
  8. software package program that is designed for companies in the business of
  9. making food products. ``Fully interactive'' means that when data is changed in
  10. one section of the software, or on one terminal, it is immediately available to
  11. all other ``jobs'' (terminals) on the computer. For example, if a new category
  12. of raw materials is defined on a particular terminal, that new category is
  13. available on all terminals immediately. The scope of the VWMS includes: Raw
  14. Materials Processing; Raw Material Inventory; Raw Material Cost Tracking;
  15. Recipe Processing (including costing and least cost formulation); and Materials
  16. Requirements Planning.
